Stuart Harrison, current master of the Bowyer lodge, decided to have a garden party instead of having the more formal gala dinner or ladies’ night, as it’s been called in the past.
During the party, a raffle was held a raffle which was supported by lots of local businesses, from a meal for 2 at the Crown and Cushion in Chipping Norton through to some core drills from Travis Perkins, which made for great amusement. There was also live music thanks to The Ronnies, who performed renditions of wartime songs along with a BBQ. The event raised £500 for the TLC Bears. It was a thoroughly good day all round – although Stuart is still picking napkins out of the hedges, but that’s the sign of a good party!!
